On April 12th, Colors for Peace Romania celebrated the 10th anniversary of the founding of the largest international association dedicated to peace through art. Established in 2015, Colors for Peace now brings together 152 nations around a shared mission of intercultural dialogue and peace education.
The event was held in Bucharest with an international Children’s Art and Culture Exhibition, featuring drawings, music, and poetry on the theme of peace. Children from Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Turkey, and Italy participated with powerful artwork and heartfelt messages.
The Romanian branch of Colors for Peace was among the first to join the global initiative, with its headquarters in Sighetu Marmației. The national coordination team includes Mariana Ierima (President and Peace Ambassador – Sibiu), Mioara Voicu (Vice President and Peace Ambassador – Bucharest), Adriana Pop (Secretary), and committee members Dorin Stanciu, Virginia Ciorogaru, and Claudia Birgaoanu.
The event was organized in partnership with Lubomir Nikolov, Secretary General of the Bulgarian Democratic Union in Romania. Writers, artists, and educators took part, sharing poems, songs, and messages of unity.
The children’s voices echoed one clear message: “Let there be peace. We do not want war. We want peace for all the children in the world.”

Il 12 aprile, Colors for Peace Romania ha celebrato il 10° anniversario della nascita della più grande associazione internazionale dedicata alla promozione della pace attraverso l’arte. Fondata nel 2015, Colors for Peace conta oggi 152 nazioni unite dalla volontà di educare alla pace e favorire il dialogo tra culture.
L’anniversario è stato celebrato a Bucarest con una Mostra culturale di disegno per bambini, accompagnata da canti e poesie sul tema della pace. Hanno partecipato bambini provenienti da Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Turchia e Italia, esprimendo con disegni e parole messaggi sinceri e profondi.
La filiale rumena di Colors for Peace, attiva fin dalla fondazione, ha sede a Sighetu Marmației. Il coordinamento nazionale è composto da Mariana Ierima (Presidente e Ambasciatrice per la Pace – Sibiu), Mioara Voicu (Vicepresidente e Ambasciatrice per la Pace – Bucarest), Adriana Pop (Segretaria), insieme ai membri del comitato Dorin Stanciu, Virginia Ciorogaru e Claudia Birgaoanu.
L’evento è stato organizzato in collaborazione con Lubomir Nikolov, Segretario Generale dell’Unione Democratica Bulgara in Romania.
Scrittori, artisti e insegnanti hanno condiviso poesie, messaggi e canti, in un’atmosfera emozionante.
I bambini hanno lanciato un messaggio chiaro e potente: “Vogliamo la pace. Non vogliamo la guerra. Pace per tutti i bambini del mondo.”
