As the 2025 Giro d’Italia concluded in Rome with a thrilling victory by British cyclist Simon Yates and the blessing of the Pope, another, quieter victory took shape, one woven not in speed or strategy, but in solidarity.
The young Mexican cyclist Isaac Del Toro, second place, wanted to dedicate his race to all the children in the world who participate in the project Colors for Peace by signing the jersey of Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Italia, Del Toro paid homage to the creativity of children with a drawing made by Camilla Matteo, a student of the “G. Pascoli” Primary School in Lucca.

Il Giro d’Italia 2025 si è concluso a Roma con la vittoria del britannico Simon Yates e la benedizione del Papa, ma vi è stata anche un'altra vittoria, più silenziosa, ma grande per il suo valore simbolico.
Il giovane ciclista messicano Isaac Del Toro, secondo classificato, ha voluto dedicare la sua corsa a tutti i bambini del mondo che partecipano al progetto I Colori per la Pace. Firmando la maglia della Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Italia, Del Toro ha reso omaggio alla creatività dei bambini con un disegno realizzato da Camilla Matteo, studentessa della Scuola Primaria “G. Pascoli” di Lucca.
